The interior of the feed trough is finished with a waterproof fabric, which can be easily cleaned with a damp cloth. The quilted fabric, on the other hand, has been coated with an additional water repellent layer to prevent excessive absorption of liquids. The feeder can also be safely washed in the washing machine at low temperatures.
